“Caroline, or Change”
Sponsored by Mask & Bauble Dramatic Society, Black Theatre Ensemble and the Theater & Performance Studies Program
Thursday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. in Gonda Theatre

Set in the final months of 1963, against the backdrop of the chaos that followed the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the escalation of unrest involving the civil rights movement, Tony Kushner’s (“Angels in America”) play shows the conflicting lives of two families in the United States. The score includes gospel, pop, blues and jazz elements, and lends itself well to the overall themes and mood of the show. Come out tonight to support Georgetown students in theater and experience this Tony-nominated show.
